A7 Host – Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of services provided by A7 Host.
Its purpose is to ensure a secure, reliable, and lawful hosting environment for all customers.

By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy in addition to our Terms of Service.

2. Prohibited Activities

Customers may not use A7 Host services for any activity that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or disruptive, including but not limited to:

a. Illegal Content & Activities

• • Content that violates local, national, or international laws
  • Fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
  • Phishing or identity theft
  • Child exploitation material (immediate termination and reporting)

b. Spam & Unsolicited Messaging

• • Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam)
  • Email harvesting or list purchasing
  • Use of compromised mailing lists
  • Operating open mail relays

c. Malware & Security Threats

• • Hosting or distributing malware, ransomware, or trojans
  • Operating botnets
  • Hosting scripts intended to exploit systems or networks
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or data

d. Resource Abuse

• • Excessive CPU, memory, disk I/O, or network usage
  • Running cryptocurrency miners
  • Running background processes that degrade server performance
  • Activities that negatively impact other users on shared hosting

e. Copyright & Intellectual Property Violations

• • Hosting pirated software, media, or copyrighted content without permission
  • Warez sites, torrent trackers, or illegal streaming services

f. Adult & Offensive Content

• • Pornographic content involving minors (strictly prohibited)
  • Content promoting violence, hate, or harassment
  • Content deemed excessively offensive or harmful

(Legal adult content may be allowed only if compliant with laws and server policies.)

3. Email Usage Policy

• Email accounts must be used for legitimate communication
• Bulk email campaigns require prior approval
• Customers are responsible for maintaining clean mailing practices
• High bounce rates or spam complaints may result in suspension

4. Security Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

• • Keeping scripts, CMS, plugins, and themes updated
  • Using strong passwords
  • Securing applications against exploitation

A7 Host may suspend accounts that pose a security risk to the server.

5. Monitoring & Enforcement

A7 Host reserves the right to:

• • Monitor resource usage
  • Investigate suspected violations
  • Suspend or terminate services without prior notice in severe cases

No refunds will be issued for suspensions resulting from AUP violations.

6. Reporting Abuse

If you believe a customer is violating this policy, report abuse to:

Please include relevant logs or evidence when possible.

7. Suspension & Termination

Violations of this AUP may result in:

• • Warning notices
  • Temporary suspension
  • Permanent account termination
  • Reporting to appropriate authorities (if required by law)

8. Changes to This Policy

A7 Host may update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time.
Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance.
